Data Processing Addendum

This Data Processing Addendum is part of the Terms of Service between you and Inboxjot, built and operated by Arik Chakma ("Inboxjot", "we"). It covers the personal data you send through Inboxjot, such as contacts, email content and email events ("Customer Data"). You accept it when you accept the Terms.

Roles

You are the controller of Customer Data and Inboxjot is your processor. You confirm that you have a lawful basis, such as consent, to send email to your contacts and to track opens and clicks.

Processing

We process Customer Data only to run the Service and only on your instructions, which are the Terms, this addendum and how you use the Service. We do not sell it or use it to train AI models. Anyone at Inboxjot who can access it is bound by confidentiality.

Security

We protect Customer Data with the measures on the Security page.

Subprocessors

You approve the providers on the Subprocessors page. Each one is bound by data protection terms. We update that page before we add a new one, and you can object by writing to privacy@inboxjot.com.

Requests From Your Contacts

You can find, export, change and delete Customer Data in the dashboard and the API. If one of your contacts writes to us, we send them to you.

Breaches

We tell you without undue delay, and within 72 hours, after we learn of a breach that affects Customer Data.

Deletion

When you delete a workspace or your account, we delete its Customer Data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Transfers

Inboxjot processes Customer Data in the United States. For data from the European Economic Area, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Modules Two and Three) apply. For the United Kingdom, the UK Addendum applies. For Switzerland, the Clauses apply with the changes Swiss law requires.

• Data: email addresses, names and other contact properties, email content and attachments, and email events
• Purpose: sending, tracking and receiving email, and showing you the results
• Duration: while you use the Service, and until the data is deleted
