Campaigns

A campaign sends one email to your contacts. You build it, send or schedule it, then follow the results in its report. Campaigns live in the dashboard.

Create a Campaign

Open Campaigns and click New Campaign. Write the email in the editor or start from a template. Set the from address on a verified domain, a subject and an optional preheader. Your team can edit the draft at the same time.

Every campaign shows your postal address and an unsubscribe link. Inboxjot adds them to the footer when the email does not show them: when the content does not use {{mailing_address}} or contain the address as text, and does not link to {{unsubscribe_url}}. The address comes from the sending domain, or from Settings when the domain has none. The editor shows the lines it will add under the content.

Audience

Choose the segments to include and the segments to exclude, up to 50 each, and one topic. A campaign without a topic uses the default topic.

Send or Schedule

Use Send Test to send the email to up to 5 addresses first. The test subject starts with [Test]. When you are ready, send now or pick a date, time and time zone.

A scheduled campaign checks the domain, subject, content, postal address and audience again when it starts. If a check fails, it goes back to draft.

Pauses

You can pause a sending campaign and resume it later. Inboxjot also pauses a campaign on its own.

ReasonWhat happens
Daily limitResumes on its own after midnight UTC.
WarmupResumes on its own when the domain warmup cap allows.
Sending pausedWaits until sending is active for the workspace again.
Domain not verifiedWaits until the sending domain is verified again.

Report

The report shows delivered, opened, clicked and unsubscribed rates, an opens chart for the first 48 hours and the top clicked links. Filter the recipients by Delivered, Opened, Clicked, Bounced or Unsubscribed.
