Webhooks

Event Types

Webhooks send a POST request to your endpoint when something happens. Pick the events for each endpoint in the dashboard under Webhooks.

Payload

idstring

The event id, the same as the webhook-id header.

typestring

The event type from the list below.

created_atstring

When the event happened.

dataobject

The email or contact the event is about. Each event below lists its fields.

Email Events

email.sentevent

Inboxjot handed the email to the mail server.

email.deliveredevent

The receiving server accepted the email.

email.delivery_delayedevent

Delivery is delayed and still being retried.

email.openedevent

The recipient opened the email.

email.clickedevent

The recipient clicked a link.

email.bouncedevent

The receiving server refused the email.

email.complainedevent

The recipient marked the email as spam.

email.rejectedevent

The mail server refused to send the email.

email.failedevent

The email could not be sent.

email.unsubscribedevent

The recipient unsubscribed from the email.

Contact Events

contact.createdevent

A contact was created.

contact.updatedevent

A contact changed.

contact.deletedevent

A contact was deleted. The data is the contact as it was.
